Burwood East is just up the road from MathsHub, which runs inside Glen Waverley Primary School at 774 High St Rd. We work with primary and secondary students in small groups, each on a program matched to their level.
Many children who struggle with maths aren't missing ability. They're missing a step. A student stuck on algebra is often really stuck on fractions or basic number facts. We assess each child, find the gaps and fill them, so new topics stop feeling impossible. Read more about why students struggle with maths.
Confidence comes from understanding. Students practise each concept until it clicks, with no rushing to the next worksheet, and they move on when they're ready. Parents often tell us the biggest change is in attitude: maths homework stops being a battle.
We teach students from Burwood East Primary School, Burwood Heights Primary School and other local primary schools, as well as secondary students from schools such as Forest Hill College. Because every student works on their own program, they slot in whatever their class is covering this term.
