Vermont South families reach MathsHub by heading south along Springvale Road to Glen Waverley Primary School at 774 High St Rd. We teach Maths and English to primary and secondary students in small groups.
Juggling two tutors in two places is hard work. Our combined Maths and English sessions run as one block: Wednesday and Thursday afternoons or Sunday mornings for primary students, and Sunday mornings for secondary students. One drop-off, one pick-up. See the timetable.
Every student works on an individual program matched to their level. We keep parents updated on progress, what their child is working on and where they need more practice, so there are no surprises at report time.
Our English program centres on reading comprehension, then writing, vocabulary and language conventions, the skills tested in NAPLAN, ICAS and school assessments. Read about our approach to teaching English and primary maths.
We welcome students from Livingstone Primary School, Weeden Heights Primary School, Holy Saviour Parish School and other local primary schools, as well as secondary students from schools such as Emmaus College and Vermont Secondary College.
